New signings the Stoics have relocated to melbourne after performing at Mona Foma Hobart with the likes of The Break and Grinderman and The St Kilda Festival.
Mark Cashin never stopped during the christmas break with his Video for single 'Ordinary People' on major music channels such as Max he played to sell out crowds
on the Central Coast and put his money where his mouth was by staging benefit shows for the Brisbane Floods. Some of the newscasts featured his track 'Suburban Hero'
written for the emergency servcies volunteers.
Classical Composer and guitarist Alex Chudnovsky performed at Peats Ridge Festival over new year for his 2nd album release and is a finalist in the APRA PDA awards.
While on the awards writer Travis Caudle is also a finalist.
Writer/Performer Michael Peter is back in the studio recording his second album which features co writes with Sarah Humphries(Mushroom). Michael spent much of last year
collaborating with ABC writers and penned a song with Barb Griffin (Sony ATV) as well. First single and Video 'Skin on Skin" will be out soon
Jude Elliot will be doing a writing trip to Los Angeles in April with a confirmed session with Jeff Bova (one of the many Katy Perry Producers)
Daniel Dawes new video 'Castover' is now released follwoing on from his RAGE indie of the week last year.
Daxton Monahan signed late last year has just returned from his writing trip taking in Nashville and Los Angeles.

The Stoics are already receiving Triple J airplay for their track "Doom Girl" which is the first song lifted form their latest Death Machine EP. Their debut album will be recorded very soon and will see the light of day in 2011.

This year sees a number of compilation releases across multiple genres and themes from Foghorn Media to celebrate both the label’s 15 year tenure and in-house studio Damien Gerard’s crackin’ its 25th anniversary.
All the releases feature either hard copy or downloadable digital booklets with stunning photos and extensive liner notes. Already available on iTunes, the ‘Live in the Studio’ series was created from a week-long run of live sessions where the artists invited a select group of fans as the studio audience.
The performances were recorded and filmed live with some footage already appearing on YouTube. The audio only recordings are now available on iTunes and feature artists include Jesse Morris, John Kennedy, Alex Chudnovsky and Nick and Liesl - checkout -
Available both online and in store the Home Grown Roots series reached volume four last year and has featured artists such as Angus and Julia Stone, Paul Kelly,
Mia Dyson, Ash Grunwald, Hawksley Workman, Joel Plaskett, Jill Barber and many more.
There are close to 100 excellent blues and roots artists in total available
across the four releases.
