Daxton & The Sweetlips - are currently at number 3 on the Australian blues and roots airplay chart with their album 'Thin Tall Lily' - the single 'Perfect Day' with bonus reggae track 'Little Difference' will be up on itunes later this month, as well as a 'Stompin' Xmas Blues' special 3 tracker due out just in time for those Xmas stocking downloads.

 


Halfway Homebuoy - have their EP 'CROSSING BORDERS' released and - New single 'Life Goes On' debuts on soundslikecafé v34 this month following their spot on the SLC stage at the Sydney Blues and Roots Festival in October.


Deligma - have been recieving more spot airplay on Triple J.

 


Alex Chudnovsky -
has almost 10 000 subscribers to his YouTube Channel, recently perfromed at the Sydney Blues festival and is about to do a residency on a Tall Ship just off Hamilton Island.

 

The Stoics - have recently been interviewed on homebrew radio and also ABC Darwin. Their most recent singles "I'm here" and "Everything Else Is Easy" have been playing on triple J since February.

 


Lyke Giants - have a new video going to rage - 'Breaking the night' - after all 3 previous videos have scored excellent plays on the national music video show; they are also jetting off to the USA in December to record their debut album with none other than Silvia Massey (Tool, Cog, System of a Down)

 


Jesse Morris - releases his first single  off the forthcoming 2012 album 'Should I Go' this month following his performance at Sydney Blues and Roots festival.


Michael Peter - releases second single 'Voices' December 1 from his forthcoming second album due next year.


Mark Cashin - performed at Sydney Blues and Roots and is currently recording his 3rd album with producer Simon Tonks

Michael peter – almost at mixing stage of his new album, produced by Andrew Beck, current single "My Fire" has appeared on soundslikecafe. He has also had one of his songs "My Favourite" featured in the trailer for the movie "Surviving Georgia". Click here for Michaels Youtube channel.

Jesse Morris – will soon be mixing his new album in between a hectic touring schedule

 

The Stoics – debut album RELATIVES is finally complete and will be released at the end of june. Following their move to Melbourne, live shows are starting this week with the espy on Friday night

Mark Cashin – new video for hollywood being added to commercial channels, live shows continue to sell out in regional NSW following their successful tour with the the Choirboys earlier in the year.

 

Halfway Homebuoy – newest signing ----soon to be mixing the debut ep and playing at the Annandale this week Thursday June 2nd, then the Lewisham June 10th.

 

Lyke Giants – will be working with Sylvia Massey(Tool, Cog) in the USA on their new album at the end of the year.

Deligma – with the number 1 and 2 spot on triple j unearthed metal charts and spot plays starting, will be one to watch.

The Stoics

Hailing from Launceston Tasmania, the Stoics are the latest addition to the Fogsongs Music roster.

 

Over the past two years the band have supported just about every act that has toured the apple isle, including Bluejuice, Yves Kleine Blue and Claire Bowditch as well as performing at the Falls Festival, Triple J AWOL, MS Fest and heaps of local Tassie  festivals.

 

Airplay wise, the band have already been played on Triple J after being awarded ‘Next Crop’ status and featuring on Triple J ‘unearthed’. The first single "Doom Girl" is receiving spot play on Triple J now!

 

With the signing of their worldwide publishing deal with Fogsongs Music, the Stoics head to Sydney in September to lay down their debut album at Damien Gerard Studios. They already have two successful EP’s under their belt including their current release “Death Machine” which has just gone to media and is available now on iTunes. Check out the feature tracks “Doom Girl” and “Living Proof”.

 

Fogsongs Music looks forward to a long and fruitful relationship with the Stoics.

Fogsongs Signs The Beggars!

Fogsongs Music is proud to announce the signing of eclectic Adelaide act The Beggars to a Worldwide Publishing Agreement.

The band will be touring Europe again next year following from previous O/S excursions and German chart action in 2009. The Beggars  already have 
two albums under their belt.


Fogsongs will come on board and help to increase their profile in both the local and international market particularly in the Film and TV World.

Marshall Cullen Fogsongs MD  said "We have all known each other for some years and have used Beggars tracks on various compilations and samplers, most notably the Home Grown Roots compilation. With international touring 
now in place there's a good platform for us to build on. We welcome the guys and look forward to a prosperous future".

Strategic Partnership!

  Fogsongs music publishing is delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Tasmanian label Rivercity Records, effective June 2010.   Rivercity is a promising new label, based in Devonport, Tas, founded and directed by Dave Skyes, who is using his many years of industry experience in Sydney to cultivate and encourage emerging Tasmanian artists.  

 

Fogsong’s Marshall Cullen says, “We are chuffed to be looking after the rights, administration and licensing of Rivercity’s catalogue. We have already picked up a USA sync on one of their tracks, so it’s a great start. We look forward to working with their fresh new roster of young artists in the very near future".  

 

Dave from Rivercity agrees; "We couldn't be happier - it's a pretty exciting time with the new label. To have Fogsongs out there batting for us is a great feeling.
